Key Features of the VETIT continuing professional qualification

The (qualification) is at EQF Level 5.

The aim of the VETIT curricula is to equip (a) VET Trainers and (b) In-Company Mentors with the skill-set required to provide high quality work-based-learning (WBL) and Apprenticeship services for young people in the workforce, especially those developing a career in the ICT sector through continuing their skills and knowledge.

The (qualification) provides career development opportunities for those already in work in the following roles:

(a): VET PROVIDERS:

  • Training and Curriculum Managers
  • Programme/Course Leaders
  • Practical Tutors/Teachers
  • Theoretical Teachers/Lecturers
  • VET Assessors

(b): EMPLOYER:

  • In-company Mentors
  • Human Resource Professionals
  • Senior Managers
  • Apprenticeship Managers
  • Mentors and Peer Mentors
  • Line Managers
  • Supervisors
  • Company-based Assessors

The curricula is in line with the European transparency instruments of: EQF, EQAVET and ECVET.
