Identifying IT Sector Needs – Involving Key Stakeholders: VETIT Design Meeting held in Greece20/12/2017 15:18
The VETIT Design Meeting was held in Greece, in the premises of project partner Skybridge Partners, on the 20th of December 2017, reaching quite interesting conclusions on the input of IT company mentors and representatives.
VETIT project foresees the implementation of a design meeting in each of the consortium countries, where the end-users (VET trainers and in-company mentors) will be asked to participate and through this, define the training needs from their perspective. These needs will be evaluated and categorised, to be used for the curricula design and delivery.
In this framework, the Design Meeting in Greece was organized with the active participation of representatives and mentors of IT companies in Greece, ranging from SMEs to multinationals. Indicatively, among the companies represented in the meeting were Intrasoft International SA and Blue Stream Solutions Ltd.
Companies representatives and mentors were presented with VETIT project main aims and activities and provided their highly interesting insights on the needs of the sector regarding WBL and apprenticeships, as well as on their own training needs with reference to the VETIT curricula addressed to VET trainers and in-company mentors.
